Some woman phoned me claiming it was about an online finance course I supposedly showed interest in, sounded like a call centre for sure cos there was this weird 1 or 2 second lag when I picked up. Definitely a scam, don’t bother just block and move on!

i was shocked when the person on the phone called me by name and told me i'd signed up for some online trading course - which i definitely haven't - and said i had £75 to use. it felt really off since they knew my name, so it wasn’t just another random spam call. i kept telling them i never registered for any such thing and then they just ended the call.

I saw I had a missed call from this number, so I tried ringing back, but it just said ‘number not found’ or something like that.
