Got a call but they didn’t say anything and left no voicemail, definitely seems like a scam to me.

Had a call from a young woman asking about how old my boiler was, saying she was from Anglian Energy. I've had similar calls before but from a different number (bit odd that Anglian Energy would ring from a Sussex area code?). Looks like they've started using a fake mobile number now. Feels like they might be gathering info for annoying sales calls, but I reckon it’s probably some dodgy firm trying to sell insulation. When I told her I wasn’t interested, she ended the call quite nicely.

Got a call earlier today but didn’t pick up. There was no voicemail, just the sound of the phone being put down and some noises in the background like a call centre. Pretty sure it was one of those dodgy scams.

Some woman rang up saying she was a “local efficiency advisor,” sounded like she was on her own with some kind of office noise behind her. I just told her to shove off.

Got a phone call from some woman called Chloe, said she was from Anglian Boilers. She claimed someone at my place had chatted with her about my boiler being over a decade old. I had to tell her she was talking nonsense since I rent this flat and have only just moved in.
