I got this automated message warning me my phone would disconnect in a couple of hours. It asked me to press 1 for info in English, 2 for Chinese, and so on. Honestly, I just ended the call straight away.

Got a robo call claiming HMRC was about to sue me and told me to hit 1. Total scam, of course.

Got a recorded call from 07540198344, said they were from HMRC and that I owed them cash. Definitely a scam, so annoying! 😡

This definitely smells like a scam to me. They never called through proper channels and dodged using Gumtree’s usual ways to talk. Then they want me to switch over to WhatsApp instead. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.
