Got a call from 07444365042, some bloke pretending to be the police looking into NI fraud. Honestly, sounded a bit dodgy to me. I always figured the police would use official numbers, not some random private one like that. Made me laugh more than worry!

Got a call from 07440 964372, someone asking for Albone. When I questioned how they got our old number, they claimed it was from a road nearby and someone in their records - a bloke who rang last year. Seems like a clear violation of data protection rules to me.

Absolute tossers, got a call from some guy from India who rang up four times, said like one word, then just dropped the call. So annoying, grrr!

If you get dodgy calls, just send a message saying ‘scam caller’ to 7726. The phone companies will look into it and block the number. Same goes if it’s a suspicious text, forward it to 7726 and they’ll take care of it.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent, they were asking about a name I had never heard of.

Got a call from someone saying they were with British Gas trying to update my address. I rang British Gas directly to check and they said it wasn’t them. Don’t hand over any info if you don’t know who’s calling!
