I got a call from a man with an Indian accent who said I had a PPI claim accepted from 2019 through some company called The Claims Guys. He claimed I was owed £3,851.00 but that the payout was held up because of COVID and other global issues. I never made any claim like that, so it was obviously a scam. When he asked if I wanted to go ahead and get the money, I just said no. He sounded a bit thrown and asked why not, and I just told him I wasn’t interested. Then he just hung up.
