11 monthsFell right into a scam here. This lady claimed she was selling garden furniture and I paid a £125 deposit. Later, I checked the phone number and address she gave me, and it turned out to be fake. Tried to get my bank involved but the money had already cleared. When I went to collect the furniture, she demanded the rest of the payment, no surprise there. She said she was 54, a doctor, and her partner was a policeman. Properly heartbroken since that was meant to cover my gas for the month. Avoid at all costs!1 yearWatch out!
