Don't get caught out by this one - I got a call asking for my bank info for a hotel I already paid for through booking.com. It's a total scam, so be careful and don't hand over any details!

I got a message on Whatsapp from someone claiming to be from the hotel where I had a reservation. They asked me to resend my payment info, saying it was to sync with booking.com. But I’d already paid the full amount to the hotel beforehand. My antivirus flagged the link they sent as very dodgy and likely a scam. When I didn’t go along with it, they started being quite aggressive. So, I just blocked their number in the end.
