When I checked the number, it showed as Lycamobile, and I heard that company has been hit by hacking attempts recently. Didn’t take any chances and blocked the number - felt like a dodgy scam to me.

Got a call from an unrecognised number so I didn’t pick up. They left a voicemail claiming my Vodaphone connection might be cut off and told me to press 1 to talk to Customer Support. Turns out the number is registered to Lyca Mobile, and I'd heard they’ve recently been targeted by hackers. Decided to block it since it seemed like a scam. I also got a similar message from another number, 07004 521626, which is linked to Daisy Communications.
