Just got a text saying my PayPal account was locked, but it smelt fishy to me. Didn’t click any links and just ignored it. Feels like another phishing scam trying to trick folks out there. Beware!

Got a text saying it was from PayPal. It said my account was locked because of some recent activity and gave a link to click if I wanted to unlock it. The link looked really dodgy, something like PayPal.auth-user-verify[###]. Pretty sure it’s a scam, wouldn’t trust it at all.

Got a call from the same number back in 2014 with that exact message. Wonder if it’s some kind of bot or just a persistent scammer!
