I got one of those cold calls the other day, and the person just kept asking, "Is the business owner available to talk?" Quite annoying to be honest.

Got a call from this number at my cafe, some bloke trying to push electric services on us. I told him straight up we’re not interested and ended the call. But then he kept ringing the place over 15 times! Despite me asking him over and over to stop, he just wouldn’t quit. He also refused to say which company he was working for. Definitely wouldn’t recommend trusting this number.

Got a call claiming to be from some energy watchdog, telling me I’d been taken off an energy rebate. They asked when I signed up for my plan. I told them I don’t share personal details during sales calls. They said it wasn’t about bank details or anything, but I replied I wasn’t clear on what they were after and then they just ended the call.
