Got a call from someone pretending to be Amazon, saying they were doing a security check. They asked whether I’d bought an iPhone 15 recently - which I hadn’t. Then they mentioned sending me a verification code. Sure enough, I got a text with a code that looked legit (it even showed up in an earlier Amazon chat I had). They wanted me to give them the code, but I just told them to jog on. Totally a scam! They’re after those codes so they can hijack your Amazon account via your phone number and probably spend your saved card info. Be careful!
