I received a call from this number while I was on another line.

I received a rather peculiar call today from someone representing CAMHS, the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. Upon answering, I informed them that there was no one under eighteen residing at my address, suggesting they might have misdialed. However, the caller insisted that if my number was in their records, then obviously I must have a minor at my place! Quite the bizarre assumption, I must say. Given my job with the Youth Offending Team and my interactions with CAMHS, I politely guided her to hang up and carry on her day. It's all rather strange, and I certainly plan to look into this further.

I received a call from CAMHS, the child and adolescent mental health services. I mentioned to the caller that there isn't anyone under 18 living at my address, suggesting she’d possibly dialled incorrectly. In a rather peculiar response, she insisted that since she had my number, there must be a minor associated with it. Little did she know, I’m employed with YOT and often liaise with CAMHS, so I redirected her promptly. Quite a strange encounter, and I intend to investigate further into this matter.
