Had some dodgy caller who claimed his gran had passed away and asked for a deposit. Gave the money but never got any receipt or proof. Now he just ignores my calls but every now and then, he answers when I ring from an unknown number. Really fishy behaviour.

Got scammed. Paid a deposit, was told my grandma had passed away, but they never gave me any proof or receipt. After that, they stopped answering my calls. Sometimes they pick up when I phone from random numbers though.

Stay away from these scammers! They mess up the job, take your cash, and then suddenly claim a family member has died so they don’t finish what they promised. After that, they just ignore your calls. They used to go by Liverpool Roofing Services. Absolute con artists around Merseyside and Lancashire. Don’t trust them!
