Are scammers seriously still pulling this trick? I'd suggest having a look at the posts from the 22nd and 28th of November. It's a shame because I reckon not enough people report these calls, so the police and NFIB might not realise how big some of these scams really are. Usually, they'll just log your report and that’s it, but if they get thousands of complaints about a particular number or scam, then they might take action. More than 5,000 people have looked up this scam number right here on this site. If the authorities aren’t aware, they won’t do a thing.

Got a text from 07541965940 saying I’d won £500 in Argos vouchers. Problem is, I never took part in any contest! They wanted me to click a link too. Honestly, best thing is to just block the number and don’t touch the link at all.

i just got a text saying i won £500 from Argos but its a total scam. the link they sent isnt the real Argos one, its something like arg0s-account-co-uk.icu which looks super sketchy. they try to get you to put in your email and password. dont trust it at all!

Got a text supposedly from Argos saying I’d bagged a £500 prize and should click a link, but it came from this number here 07926013921. Seems dodgy to me!

Got a text from +44 7926 017392 saying I'd won a £500 Argos voucher. Didn’t trust it one bit, so I sent the message over to Argos' scam department to check it out.

I just got a message from 07565 488687 saying I’d won £500 worth of Argos vouchers. It had a link in it but I wouldn’t recommend clicking on anything or sharing your info. Seems dodgy to me.
