Lately, I’ve been getting similar calls from various numbers. I usually let them go to voicemail, and quite often there’s a message left by a woman speaking in Chinese, sounding pretty upset. It’s actually quite comforting to see others mention they’re getting these weird calls too.

Total scam, they’re going after Chinese speakers. Better to block and report them ASAP.

I don’t pick up, but keep getting voicemails in what sounds like Chinese or some foreign language. I get at least a couple of these calls daily and block them all, but it doesn’t seem to stop them at all!

I didn’t pick up since the number wasn’t in my contacts. Later, I got a voicemail in what sounded like Chinese or something close to it. No clue what they were saying but I’m guessing it was some kinda scam. So, I just blocked the number.

Just wanted to add to my earlier comment from 16:00 - the very brief message sounded like it was in some kind of Asian language.

So, today, Sunday 24th September, I got a ring around 4pm from a number I didn’t have saved. I didn’t pick up since I didn’t recognise it. Then, not long after, they left a voicemail but it was barely a second long, so I figured it was probably just some spam or someone dialing the wrong number.
