Some bloke rang saying he was from Openreach, insisting our IP was hacked and changed from public to private or something daft like that. We ended up having a chat for about 10 minutes where I managed to get him to admit the address he was talking about. After I told him we haven't lived there for like 15 years, he just gave up. Fingers crossed that my bit of time wasted stops someone else from getting scammed.
