I got a random call this morning from a number I didn’t recognise. Then later, there was this call supposedly from Amazon Prime but the caller ID showed International. It was some American voice recording telling me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel my Amazon Prime subscription. I used 1471 both times to get the number, then decided to ring back. I ended up speaking to a woman who was quite clear she hadn’t made any call and said Amazon must be using some kind of device to spoof her line. Her number is 07783292621.
