Got a text today pretending to be from the DWP, but the idiot who sent it made a big mistake by putting loads of other people's numbers in the group chat. The message said something like: DWP - Energy Allowance Alert: Your account is showing eligibility for an Energy Allowance for 2024-2025 up to £300 max. You need to finish the application by 10th June. Any late entries won't be accepted and will be invalid. It also had a link to apply, but I deleted it cos it looked dodgy.
