Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent who gave the name David. He claimed he was from Amazon and said there was an iPhone order placed in my name. I told him to stop it and cancel cuz I wasn’t the one buying anything. He said he’d send me a text to confirm. I asked straight up if this was some sort of scam and, just as I expected, he hung up before sending any message. Pretty clear this is just another trick, kinda like those recorded voice scams going around.
