Someone rang me saying they were from some Care Cost organisation and started talking about estate planning, saying "the government is making folks sell their houses to cover care fees". When I asked where they nabbed my number from, they said it was from a list linked to renewables companies. I told them I’ve never dealt with any company like that, then the call just dropped. It was a mobile number, which makes me suspicious it’s a scam. Don’t hand over any bank or personal info to these people!
