someone rang me claiming they were from talk talk call protect saying i had an outstanding balance. i just told them to jog on and they ended the call straight away.

Yesterday, my elderly mum, who's 83, got a call from these dodgy people. When I got there, she was upset and said a bloke rang about some supposed debt she owed, threatening court if she didn’t give her card details. My mum’s quite vulnerable and not as sharp as she used to be. I rang the number back, got voicemail, and left a message telling them to get lost and never ring her again. I’m beyond angry that these scumbags target folks like my mum. Honestly, I hope they get what’s coming to them.

That guy Jack phoned me up again, claiming I had some debt with them. Call Protect, they called themselves. Total scammers, no shame at all. I got caught out by them about two years back, it was a nightmare. Eventually had to get my bank’s fraud team involved and managed to get my money back. Seems like that number is linked to loads of scams these crooks run. Just a heads up, don’t ever give them any details. I learnt the hard way, but hopefully others can avoid the same trap.

this bloke named jack rings me claiming he’s from call protect and that i owed money. i told him i had no clue what he was talking about and then he started threatening to disconnect my bt line and take me to court!! what a muppet. don’t get caught out by this nonsense.

Got a call from someone saying it was TalkTalk about a missed £100 payment, but I’m sure it’s a scam. The number was 07432774972. Definitely dodgy!
