Got a text from this number telling me "final stage of the 2024 winter heating grant has been approved for you by the DWP, please finish your application by November 27 or it’ll be treated as a forfeiture." There was a link included and underneath it said, "wishing you a cosy and pleasant winter." Sounds dodgy to me - since when does the DWP send texts like that? Plus, if it’s already paid, why ask for more info to complete a claim? Total scam, if you ask me.
