Today I got a text saying it was from Royal Mail, telling me I have to pay £2 to get a parcel. This is now the second time in about two weeks I've had one like this. Does anyone know if this is for real? I always assumed Royal Mail would just leave a note at the door if there was any customs or charges to pay.

Got a text supposedly from 'Hermes' saying they tried to deliver a package and need £1.45, but the link they sent won't open and when I call the number it just hangs up straight away. I'm waiting on some parcels but haven't had any updates saying they're out for delivery, so I'm convinced this is a scam.

Today, I got a text that said my parcel has a £2 shipping charge. This is the first time I've seen a message like this for a delivery. It doesn’t seem legit to me at all. Has anyone else had something like this? The message said something like: Royal Mail says to pay £2 at [#]royaldelivery-mail[###], or the parcel gets sent back. Feels a bit dodgy, don’t you think?
