Definitely a scam! Got a call about my Halifax account, but it was really suspicious. Don't trust these calls, they’re trying to trick you.

Beware of this number, it’s a total scam. I got a message saying someone had added a new payee to my Halifax online banking and wanted me to send £240. The text included a link that looked like the official Halifax site, though it only seemed legit if you opened it on a computer. I’m pretty sure if you put in your info there, they’d use it to make withdrawals without you knowing.
