I got a text saying I owed £1.99 to Royal Mail, so I phoned them up to check. Turns out, there’s no payment due at all. Seems like a total scam to me.

Got a call from someone pretending to be Royal Mail saying I owed £1.99 for shipping. Honestly, I nearly got caught out if it wasn’t for my client. She’d been targeted by the exact same scam earlier that day, with scammers telling her she had to pay the same fee because she was waiting on a parcel. She’s a new mum too and ended up crying on the phone to them. They managed to take over £2000 from her, it’s just awful how these nasty people exploit others. Proper disgusting behaviour.
