I got a voicemail on my mobile from someone pretending to be Amazon, warning me about my Prime membership and saying they’d charge my account unless I pressed 1. It sounded dodgy straight away, so I just ended the call. Funny thing is, I had to contact Amazon for a Prime problem anyway, so I asked them about it. The person I spoke to confirmed it wasn’t from them at all and said loads of people had reported the same scam. Then, I got an email from Amazon too, verifying that it’s a fraud attempt.
