This felt really dodgy, so I got in touch with Citizens Advice and the police. It all got suspicious when all my WhatsApp chats suddenly vanished and it looked like one number was being used by several people. The police said it was probably spoofing... definitely not right.

Hey everyone, I got caught out by that 8 week call too. I reached out to the CAB and they were pretty helpful, but it looks like getting my money back won’t be easy. I’m thinking of contacting Martin Lewis next. These people really know how to take advantage when you’re vulnerable. Has anyone had any luck getting a refund? Maybe we should check if he belongs to any professional organisations?

I've had pretty much the same experience as everyone else here. I'd really advise reporting this to Trading Standards and also putting in a complaint with the Health and Care Professions Council - they oversee dieticians after all. It's worth getting them to look into issues like dishonesty, potential fraud, taking advantage of someone vulnerable, and not putting the service users' interests first.

Just so you know, if you leave a review on Trustpilot and Alex or whoever answers for him responds, you can go back and change your original review with an update. I’ve done that myself, so you can actually push back a bit on what they say. Finally got him to admit in writing that it costs over £2,000 for only 12 weeks… Still really annoyed I ever dealt with him.

Thanks for sharing, I've been checking this site regularly myself. From what I can tell, the group called The Inner Circle or Elite Group is mostly controlled by the people who bring in new members. This is just how I see it, but it’s honestly so annoying that this little niche of the internet is pretty much the only spot where we can express our frustrations. I felt terrible for that one woman who was told to keep things from her husband. I was embarrassed myself and only admitted to my partner about one of the payments I made. I’ve only managed to share my critical thoughts once, replying to a specific thread. Hang in there, folks!

Avoid this at all costs! The guy definitely knows his stuff, but the pushy sales approach totally goes against what I believed this program stood for. I handed over 2k, thinking it included lifetime assistance. Then, just 8 weeks later, he rang me up saying I needed extra help and wanted me to cough up another 2-3k for two more years. He even told me not to mention it to my husband! I’m so ashamed I got duped. There’s loads I want to say, but not enough room here. I can’t find any bad reviews except on this site, and that says a lot. Really sorry that others got caught out as well.

I downloaded what was meant to be a free programme, but instead of getting it, I've been bombarded with texts asking for more details. The programme itself never arrived, nor did they send any kind of welcome email. It feels like they're just using this so-called 'free' offer (which I never got) as a cover for something else. Honestly, this isn’t some dodgy scheme. TSD is a proper company that helps women lose weight in a healthy, long-term way. I managed to shed 4 stone thanks to their support. On top of that, they’re always busy raising cash for good causes. Last year, they raised about £40,000 for bowel cancer, and this year they’re fundraising for The Stroke Association.

Replying to the previous comment here. It’s crazy how they push you so hard then try to get you to sign something that says there’s no cooling-off time. For over £2,400, it’s shocking there’s no way out. Once all this election stuff dies down, I’m definitely going to pursue it further. Honestly, I’m pretty sceptical about these weight loss programmes you see all over Facebook. I tried one a while back and didn’t notice any real difference - just felt like a waste of time and money. I guess if you find one that actually works for you, that’s great, but for me, it’s all just hype and quick fixes that don’t last. Would rather stick to good old exercise and eating better myself.
