Got a call from someone pretending to be Amazon. They told me I’d just bought an Apple iPhone for £799 and wanted me to verify it. I went along and said ‘Yeah, I did’, even though I hadn’t. That seemed to throw them off completely. I reckon they were tryin’ to get me to cancel the order then and there, which probably means they’d ask for my card info or something dodgy.
