I got a call from someone saying they were from a UK broadband company, then suddenly they just cut off the phone. Pretty suspicious behaviour if you ask me!

On 14th August 2023, I got a robocall telling me there was some suspicious activity on my card. Such nasty scammers, really wish they’d catch something awful!

This morning I got a phone call from someone claiming there was an issue with my Virgin Media router. I called him out on it saying it sounded like a scam, and he actually replied, ‘Yes, Sir.’ I just hung up after that.

I got a call today, 10/08/2023, from someone claiming to be with BT. They said I was unlawfully using my internet and warned me that if I didn’t press 1 to speak with a BT engineer, my service would be cut off. Honestly, it felt really suspicious and quite frustrating.

Got a ring from 07429 558001 around 2.34 in the afternoon. I thought it might be important so I answered, but then some automated voice started going on about the Visa Fraud Department. Didn’t buy it one bit, so I just hung up and deleted the number from my contacts straight away.
