Got a call from someone who started asking questions about covid jabs, saying they knew I’d had mine done. When I asked them to verify my name, they just dropped the call. Definitely felt like a scam.

Got a call on my mobile from a bloke with an Indian accent who said his name was Dave. He started quizzing me about my Covid vaccinations and if I had any side effects or the card to prove it. Then he suddenly switched to asking if I have life insurance. I told him yes, but when he asked which provider, I fibbed and said I couldn’t remember. He kept rattling off names of different insurance companies, trying to jog my memory, but I just kept saying I didn’t recall. He then asked me to go check, which I flat out refused, and that’s when he just dropped the call. Total scam, be wary!

My phone has been getting calls from this number quite a lot, and whenever I pick up, the caller just ends the call straight away.

got a call from someone saying they were public health checking my covid vaccine details. but if they really were, wouldnt they already have that info? i called her out for bluffing about who she was and then she just ended the call. seems like it’s probably some kind of scam hoping to get money or maybe mess with my phone later.
