I got a call from someone who said they’d send brochures about making or changing a Will. When I tried to find out where they were calling from, they kept talking over me, so I just ended the call and blocked the number, thinking it might be a trick to get my address.

Had a rather strange chat with someone who I’m pretty sure was an AI pretending to be a person, talking about my will - seemed like a sneaky way to collect info. At first, I thought it was legit, but some replies were a bit off, and the little delay before answering made me wary. When I directly asked if they were a bot, there was this long silence, so I just ended the call. Looks like this is what spam calls are gonna be like now!

I just saw all these comments, didn’t pick up the call and went straight to block the number.

About half an hour ago, I got a call from some bloke named Jason, said he was from a company dealing with “council home repairs.” He told me I’d apparently lodged complaints about my “council flat” and that they’re too busy to fix anything, but he could handle all the problems and even get me some kind of compensation! The moment I told him I hadn’t reported any issues, he just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from some bloke named Jason, said he was representing a group called “Council Property Repairs” or something. He kept going on about how I’d supposedly reported problems with my council flat, but they’re too busy fixing anything, and he could step in to help, even get me some compensation! Only problem is, I don’t live in any council property at all. Hung up sharpish!
