Got a call about paying my TV licence, but it turned out to be a total scam. Watch out, don’t fall for it!

Got a text supposedly from TV Licensing saying they’d been trying to process a payment but our card info wasn't accepted. They never mentioned it was a refund, but there was a dodgy link (#][#)/tvi1075c to supposedly update our details. We didn’t click it of course! Funny enough, a few days before, someone attempted to send us money via Paym. Didn’t catch the number and just deleted the message straight away. Not sure if the two things are connected though.

Got a text saying TV Licensing wanted my current bank info to process a refund. Pretty obvious it was a scam though.
