For the past week or so, I've been getting calls almost every day. Usually, I just don’t pick up, but when I do answer, the person on the other end just hangs up straight away. It’s pretty annoying and totally pointless, so I’m going to block the number for good.

Woke up to four missed calls from this number, too early for me to answer as I was still asleep. When I rang back, they told me I could win a gift card if I clicked on a link they’d send. Sounds familiar, I’ve been caught out by this scam before and there’s no way I’m going down that road again.

Today I got a call from some guy claiming to be from a company, going on about how much cash I could save by installing solar panels. Thing is, he never actually said which company he was with, so I just hung up.
