I received a call, but it got filtered out by a screening service. They didn't bother to provide their name or any message. Most likely, it was a scam attempt.

I received a call today, 3rd January 2023, from a woman with an Indian accent who claimed to be representing BT. She was asking about my internet service and mentioned that customers had been voicing concerns over the connection quality. Firstly, I’m not even a BT customer! And let’s be honest, when does an Internet Service Provider ever reach out like that to address supposed connectivity problems? Usually, it’s us poor souls who have to shell out 25p a minute just to get through to them for any assistance. Moreover, this number was a mobile one, which is quite unusual for BT since they wouldn’t typically contact anyone from a mobile. If there were an issue at all, it would be on us to initiate the call. Clearly, this number is part of a scam.
