I got a call from them out of the blue, saying they’re some sort of investment firm. They’ve also emailed me a couple times, but I haven’t really figured out if they’re genuine or not. When I rang back to ask what company they actually were, they dodged the question and instead asked who I was trying to reach, which felt a bit suspicious. What’s stranger is they somehow knew my name even though I called from a private number. That seems off since they should be dealing with lots of investors and wouldn’t know me just from one chat. Definitely makes me wary.
