I kept getting calls from this number and others like it, even after I asked BT to block them.

I was waiting for a tradesman to ring me, so when the phone went, I picked up and, remembering some advice not to just say "yes?", I asked who's calling. Right after that, the person just hung up straight away. Seems dodgy to me, so I'm going to treat it as a scam and block the number.
