Been getting calls from this number loads. I’m on the Isle of Man, and since I don’t know anyone in the UK, I just ignore all UK numbers now. Seems like it’s always some scam or telemarketer. Honestly, why can’t they just stop bothering folks? It’s so annoying!

I got a call from these folks who said they were from a debt consolidation firm, but it all seemed dodgy. They were really impolite too. Definitely not someone I’d trust.

Got a call from this number but I never pick up on unknown callers. They left a silent message which seemed really odd, so I tried ringing them back. The phone just beeped once then hung up! I’ve blocked the number since I found out it’s a scam from here. Honestly, can’t believe these scams are still going on nowadays. Fingers crossed no one gets caught out by it.

Got two calls from this number saying HMRC was ringing about an error on my paperwork that might affect my passport. When I tried ringing back, the number wasn’t even recognised. Definitely feels like a dodgy scam to me.

I didn’t pick up the phone, but I’m pretty sure it was a scam. Folks mentioning here that it’s just a silent dial, so I thought I’d explain how it goes. When you do answer, it’s basically an automated system. If you keep quiet, it’ll move on to the next number, but if you start talking, it will link you through to a con artist working at a call centre. Hope this info is useful to someone!
