Got a message the other day saying I supposedly owed parking fines, with a deadline for payment on 14 January 2026. It warned about extra fees and even said my licence could be taken away, affecting my credit. The text urged me to visit a link to enter my car reg and settle the fine, saying the info check was free. The site looked pretty legit, but I ran it through check.getsafeonline and turns out it was a scam. The whole thing was a clever fake. I've reported the number and blocked it straight away to be safe.
