Someone rang me claiming to be from BT, saying my internet had been hacked and my data was at risk. They tried to scare me by saying hackers were watching my online activity and stealing info. I asked for their name, and they said Jason Morris from BT Security in London. I requested an email with the details and instructions, but they said they couldn’t send me anything like that. So, I just hung up.
