Someone rang me up and actually asked for me by name. I mentioned that I was at work and requested they ring back later. Then they inquired if I had any idea what the call was regarding. I repeated that I couldn’t talk as I was at work, and out of nowhere, they started hurling abusive language at me, calling me a foul name. Quite shocking really!

They called me a couple of times saying they were from some money company, but the connection was so bad I couldn’t hear much. I asked them “Sorry, who’s this?” and they just gave me a bunch of numbers before abruptly ending the call. Proper rude, felt like a total scam.

Someone rang me asking about a car crash I’d been involved in and whether I was satisfied with how things were sorted out. I explained the only accident I can remember was ages ago and if this was just a random call, I wasn’t interested and asked them to stop since I’ve had loads of calls like this lately.
