SCAM - Got a call claiming to be from HMRC about some tax fraud issue. I checked with HMRC and they said there’s a known scam going around where an automated message says you’re being sued by them, and asks you to press 1 to talk to someone about paying up. They made it clear it’s a fraud and you should just hang up straight away. Apparently, these calls often go after older folks and those who are easily fooled.
