Got a call on my phone yesterday from a man with an Indian accent who said his name was Mark. Got a call recently about some debts I supposedly owed - told them I don’t owe a penny and they claimed there’s £10K outstanding! Turns out it was from 2 YEARS ago! I said it’s all sorted and then just ended the call. Blocked them straight away!

Got a call from this number today, and I saw it had rung me a couple of times earlier. I thought I'd pick up this time, and it sounded like it was coming from some kind of call centre with all the background chatter. When she told him she wasn’t me and he’d got the wrong number, he threatened to, and I quote, “send the legals round”. Best to just ignore, save and block it.

got a call earlier today from someone saying they were from citizens advice, saying they were checking into some debt i supposedly have - which i dont have at all. he claimed someone took out a payday loan using my info. then he started asking who i live with, what bank i use and loads more personal stuff. when i questioned him, he got all defensive. i told him he was being rude and he said he had to be coz i was asking silly questions. total scam, would recommend blocking this number straight away.

Had a call today from a bloke with an Indian accent, he told me to open my front door and accept a letter from bailiffs about some debt. I told him I ain’t got any debts, then he got all rude asking why I was lying. I said I wasn’t and just ended the call. This number just rang me about 10 minutes ago, the guy sounded Indian with broken English. He claimed he was from some government dept program and wanted to know how much debt I had so he could clear it. I told him if he already had my details, why ask me? Told him it sounded dodgy and I'd look into the program properly before giving out anything. He asked if he could call back in an hour, I said no thanks.

Got a call from an Indian guy talking in really bad English, saying I’m on some kind of debt list. Every time I tried to ask who he was, he just repeated that I was on this list. When I asked if I could speak to someone who spoke better English because I couldn’t make sense of him, he just said "you know what" and then hung up on me.

Got a call from some bloke called Wendy Simmonds from the C.A.B. claiming I’m owed a refund for overpaying a debt. He even knew my address, so I said fine, send the cheque through the post. Nope, wouldn’t do that was the answer, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from some Indian bloke claiming he was from a company called DLC debt collectors. My phone flagged the call as a scam, so I straight up asked him why. He said he was trying to stop solicitors hounding me about supposed debts. I told him I owed nothing, so he should get on with it. Then, out of nowhere, he said I was boring him and told me to get lost before hanging up. Honestly, I found the whole thing quite funny and enjoyed messing with him a bit. But seriously, anyone who’s not on their guard could easily fall for this. Watch out for these types!

Normally, I ignore unknown numbers but I picked up thinking it might be a job agency following up on an application. Turns out he claimed to be from the Citizens Advice Bureau, talking about some supposedly unpaid debt I supposedly owed - which isn't true at all. Got a call from this number, and the bloke claimed he was ringing from Citizens Advice. He said he had my details because apparently I’ve got debts, which isn’t true at all. As soon as I told him I didn’t owe anything, he just ended the call. Now the number’s blocked on my phone.

Got a call from a man with an Indian accent saying I owe some credit money, which is total rubbish. Just ended up blocking the number.

Got a call from someone saying they were from CAB, but the bloke’s English was terrible and he sounded totally uninterested. He kept asking if I owed any money and how much. Once I said I had no debts, he just ended the call straight away.

I picked up thinking it was a mate ringing from their mobile, but it turned out to be some dodgy call centre from overseas trying to chat about a debt I definitely don’t owe. Now they’re blocked.

Got a call from 07427 297747, an Indian guy claiming he was with the Citizens Advice Bureau, talking about some debts I supposedly had. I was kinda on edge straight away since I don’t owe any money. Told him I don’t have any debts, I earn well, my partner does too, plus we’ve got cash in the bank and our house and cars are fully paid off! He just snapped back with, “that’s f##king nice for you” and hung up! Guess I got under his skin lol. Hopefully, that’s the last time they ring me. Watch out, sounds like a classic phishing scam…

Had a call from someone with an Indian accent, just like others have said. The bloke kept telling me I owed money, but as soon as I said I didn’t, he just cut me off. It’s so annoying to be hassled by these calls all the time. I really wish there was a way to give them a taste of their own medicine. Bloody heckers.
