Got a call from this number earlier today, 11th Sept 2024. They claimed to be from Amazon, saying an iPhone 13 was bought using my account in the US. Then they asked me for a one-time passcode that supposedly got sent to me. I didn’t share it and just ended the call. They never rang back after that.

Picked up the phone and this woman, who didn’t sound like she spoke English very well, said she was ringing about problems with my Sky internet - although I’m actually with Virgin. Told her to stop lying and gave her a piece of my mind before ending the call.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from my phone company. She claimed I'd been charged too much on some calls and said they wanted to send me a refund. Then she asked for my DOB and banking info. I just ended the call right there - total scam alert!

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent on her mobile. She started talking about phones, I told her I wasn't bothered. Then out of nowhere she started going on about the Muslim brotherhood, Islamic state, and Russia, saying to be ready or something. Then she just cut me off. It's maddening that companies like BT let these annoying and threatening calls get through into our homes. This happened on Wednesday 27th March 2024.

Picked up a call from a number I didn’t recognise but the caller didn’t say anything or leave a voicemail.

Got a message saying BT were shutting down the line as it was being used for illegal stuff, either online or phone calls. They told me to press 1 or 2 to get in touch. Problem is, I was on voicemail so couldn’t really do anything.

Never even signed up with BT, so it smells like a scam to me.
