I’ve come across a rather dodgy individual who seems to be running a scam. They’re targeting folks advertising items on Gumtree, claiming to make a “PayPal payment” that never materialises, and then instructing the seller to wire money to a different account. Just the other day, I was bombarded with two such requests!
