I had a call from someone pretending to be from the bank, trying to scam me. If you get anything like that, you should definitely report it to Action Fraud or just text 7726 to flag it. Stay safe!

Complete rip-off, pretending to be from some bank compensation thing, claiming I owed £2550 plus £1550 interest. When they asked for my bank’s name, I said “London Savings” - a bank that isn’t real. They had no clue about it. They then gave me a reference and ID number, telling me they never ask for bank or card info, and that the money was in some wallet or something. After that, they transferred me to another guy with an accent, who asked again for those numbers. I deliberately gave him wrong numbers. More to come...
