I got a text from 07426916812 saying I haven’t handed in my DWP claim for the winter fuel allowance. The message also claimed my details were shared with seven other people! What’s fishy is it’s from a mobile number, and I’m pretty sure the DWP never uses mobiles for this sort of thing. Plus, they said I need to apply for 2024/2025 - a bit late for that, scammers! Definitely smells like a dodgy scam to me.
