I got a call from someone claiming to be from the credit investigations dept. I told them straight up to take me off their calling list and then they just hung up. A few moments later, the same number called me again saying my name showed up on some official government debt register and that it was urgent. I told them I don’t owe anything. The bloke then started shouting at me, calling me a liar, and slammed the phone down. Proper cheeky b*****d!

Yet another silent ring - probably one of those usual scams, I’m betting.

Got a call from a bloke saying my husband owes some money. My husband’s actually really sick, but we didn’t tell them that. When I asked for details about the debt, the call just got cut off.

Got a call from some bloke saying he was from "citizens advice" about my debts. He starts off with "This is citizen advice regarding your debt." I was like, "Really?" Then he asks, "Do you owe any money?" I said, "No, I don’t." Then, quick as a flash, he hung up. Honestly, scammers can’t even get their act together nowadays. Proper daft if you ask me.

Some bloke with a foreign accent called saying he was from some investigation agency. When I told him I knew he was lying, he just hung up on me.
