They tried to get me to pay £600 and said they were on their way over. I told them I'd ring the cops. So far, they still haven't shown up.

Got a call from this number and some bloke wanted me to confirm my postcode, even though he kinda already knew it. I asked who he was and he said I owed him £600, and if I didn’t pay up, he’d turn up at mine and then I’d owe £5000. I just ended the call. They rang back and later sent a threatening text saying the same thing. Total scam.
