A mysterious number ringed me without any apparent purpose.

They rang me up three times, and every single time I picked up, they just cut off straight away like they were trying to get me to call them back. I never do though, don’t fall for it. Total scam, steer clear!

This morning around 9:13 I was on the phone with an insurance claims team. Then, at about 10:47, I got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, warning me about possible fraud. I didn’t pick up. After having a look, I found out it was definitely a scam.

Got a call earlier today from someone claiming to be from a business bank for the self-employed, but it was definitely a scam. They were trying to trick me into giving them info for some kind of fraud. Watch out, don’t fall for it!

Some woman from a so-called bank called me asking if I was self-employed. When I said no, she went on asking if I planned to set up a business soon, like next week or month. I told her no twice. Then she weirdly asked if I knew anyone with a business to pass on their number. Seriously, which bank goes about asking for contacts like that? Proper dodgy if you ask me.

He asked if I worked for myself, I said no. Then he wondered if I was planning to start a business, I said nope. After that, he just ended the call.

Got a call from what seemed like a scammer.

Got a call claiming it was from a bank, saying they'd give me £50 if I opened an account. I told them I wasn’t interested but the caller wouldn’t take no for an answer. I eventually had to hang up on them. A little while later, I saw a missed call from 01513147456 but didn’t bother picking up. Definitely sounds dodgy to me.
