Some con artist got in touch with my mum pretending to be me, said something like 'Hey mum, just so you know I dropped my phone earlier and the screen's totally smashed, so I'm using an old one for now. I tried calling but can’t hear a thing on it, it’s really ancient. Got insurance luckily, so I’ll have a new phone in a couple of days x'. My mum replied thinking it was actually me! Looks like they’re up to no good for sure.
